It's a change I hadn't noticed until pointed out to me. Coca Cola have ditched it's shadows, fake water drops and metallics in favour of a crisp simple design. We have entered a new era of ultra clean design. When I first saw the "original" can. I thought " The design really works, it makes me want a coke. The water drops make it irresistible" but now looking at the new design side by side of the old design, I prefer the former. It's going back to "coca cola's" idea of simplicity and cutting out all the gimmicks. It's instantly recognisable logo along with the iconic coca cola red is more than enough. Simple.
