For my fine artists breif I thought it was appropiate to go around different art galleries
and see how they approach an exhibition.
Last weekend I visited Derby Art Gallery/Museum.
Here are a few handouts I picked up,
NEXT STOP - LEEDS, BIRMINGHAM
A scanned double page spread showing the exhibition information of Joseph Wright. It also shows a portrait of the artist.
A second DPS. This handout appears to have a consistant layout and theme. Something worth bearing in mind when designing a fine artist's programme.
A map of the Art Gallery and Museum space. The map was somewhat useful but could be more visually interesting especially as it's for an Art gallery.
