Looking at the Corkellis House has given me an idea of what area of architecture I should focus on.
I then started to research scandinavian typography and came across this. A font inspired by Scandinavian furniture design. This is a great example of the principles used in furniture (which isn't too disimular to architecture) influencing type design.
